Beauty | Charlotte Tilbury Foundation Sample Review

I saw a link on Facebook to sign up for a free sample of the Charlotte Tilbury foundation range, so I jumped at the chance as I hear really good reviews regarding the CT collection. The sachet that got sent to my house was large enough for one wear from it so I decided to wear it out last Saturday evening when I met up with some friends.

It was really lovely on the skin and looked lovely on too. I would probably describe it as being a medium coverage foundation but it certainly is buildable! I probably only wore it for about 5/6 hours out so I couldn't tell you exactly its wear lifespan lasted but from what I remember, my make up still looked perfectly in place when I got home and I didn't need to patch it up at all during the night!

When I ordered it online, you could choose what colour shade you wanted, I went for the palest one which is Porcelain Shade One. As some pale shades are still a little bit too dark for my skin this one wasn't, it blended in with my skin tone fantastically and I would thoroughly recommend it. However, unless you have the money to spend it probably isn't a foundation to wear for everyday use but one of those for "special occasion" wear as it comes with a price tag of £29.50. So if you are on a budget, it is probably not one for you.

I think I will definitely purchase this foundation myself as I really liked it and it's not often I find a lovely foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly! Seeing as it is advertised as "longwear" foundation it would be intriguing to see how long it lasts for before needing a touch up.

What are your thoughts on the Charlotte Tilbury foundation range? Have you tried any other products? What would you recommend?
